Little Capton B+B is ideally situated for exploring the South Hams, especially Dartmouth, Dittisham, Kingsbridge and Totnes.
Situated among open farmland, footpaths and bridleways are in abundance. The views from Little Capton are spectacular. The view above is from the 'Blue Bedroom' with Dartmoor and Haytor in the distance. On a clear day the cliffs of Portishead can be seen to the right. There are views all around the property taking in Dartmouth, Torbay and of course the sea.
Our local village is Dittisham where you can take the ferry boat from the little quay over to Greenaway.
The Ferry Boat Inn on the quay is a favourite haunt for locals and visitors, with excellent food and a great atmosphere!
Sunsets and sunrises can be stunning viewed from here. The air is fresh and clear.
The beautiful River Dart is but a stones throw from here. There are many ways to explore the river from Dartmouth.
Sandy beaches are never far away from Little Capton. Thurlestone Sands, Blackpool Sands ( no not that Blackpool! ) South Sands are all worth a visit
